Outdoor Education

Education took a promenade on the Tobacco Heritage Trail this past school year. National Recognition for South Boston Trail

It’s time to celebrate! On May 31, 2013 Secretary of the Interior, Sally Jewell, announced the designation of 28 new National Recreation Trails, one of which is the South Boston section of the Tobacco Heritage Trail. This distinction comes with several benefits for the THT which include promotion, technical assistance, networking and access to funding. read more…
